We will be taking extra precaution to reduce the spread of the corona virus.
We have asked all clients and cleaners to inform us as soon as possible if they suspect that they have come into contact with a person suspected to have the virus or have symptoms themselves.
Steps that we are taking:
- We will thourouly wash hands with warm soapy water and sanitise before and after every clean.
- We will clean and then disinfect all surfaces with a product that kills 99.9% of bacteria.
- We will disinfect all cleaning materials, such as spray bottles after each use.
- We will wear disposable gloves. This will be a fresh pair for each household.
- All cleaning cloths will be disinfected and washed after each use.
- All high touch areas, such as door handles and light switches will be disinfected with every clean.
All clients and cleaners to keep to the social distancing recommendation. If the client remains at home during the time the cleaner is at work, then we politely ask the client to leave the room whilst it is being cleaned. If this is not possible then a facemask will be worn.
We do not clean a home if an occupant is experiencing symptoms, no matter how mild or is shielding or self isolating. We do however offer a deep clean service if anyone is worried about the virus being in the home or after a person has recovered and would like to stop any further spread. This will involve:
- We will find out when the property was last contaminated with the virus.
- We would prefer the house or office to be empty while we carry out the clean.
- We will wear disposable glove which will be changed between the cleaning of each room. As well as wearing a face mask at all times.
- All windows will be opened and extraction fans will switched on.
- All areas will be cleaned thoroughly with warm soapy water followed by disinfecting with a product killing 99.9% of bacteria.
- All soft furnishing will be washed if this hasn’t already be done. For those which cant be machine washed, we will thourouly clean them.
- All floors will be vacuumed and all non carpeted floors will be mopped with warm soapy water.
